We launched our Eden Influencer Programme in April 2022 because we know that we need to listen to our people to make Eden Futures a great place to work. Our x19 Eden Influencers are a cross-section of our staff: Support Workers, managers, support functions and Expert Partners who help us to shape our People Strategy. Together, we have a shared voice and the opportunity to influence our staff engagement, wellbeing, recruitment, retention, learning and development…. And more! Our Influencers live our values and bring with them their own experiences about how we do things at Eden Futures; they listen and gather the feedback of our staff and the people we support to influence positive change.

Our Influencer team have designed our monthly reward and recognition, ‘Shining Stars’. Our Shining Stars Programme recognises outstanding employees or teams who have our Values and show individual achievement, contribution and performance beyond their day-to-day jobs. Since launch in April this year, we’ve received over 200 amazing nominations from staff and people we support!

But they don’t stop there! Our Eden Influencers have been busy planning our Care Awards this year, from the categories of the awards, the nominations process, employee communications and what we will do to celebrate in Recognition Week. With the feedback from our staff and people we support, the Influencers have shaped a week that’s inclusive, engaging, and meaningful for everyone. We have lots happening, with a ‘party theme’ across multiple venues, with Care Award Winners, prizes, special recognition and mentions for staff and celebrating the achievements of the people we support, ‘Positivity Postcards’, food and drink, games and our very own Eden Futures music playlist!
