Joining Eden Futures in 2023 through our Skilled Worker overseas sponsorship programme, Jerin has since made Ollerton his home and become a valued and important member of our team.

Since settling into the UK, Jerin has flourished in his role as a Support Worker. He brings compassion, dedication and genuine warmth to his work every day, ensuring that the people we support are safe, respected and protected from harm, while being empowered to live meaningful, fulfilled lives in line with their wishes and choices.
Like every Support Worker at Eden Futures, Jerin plays a vital role in creating environments where people feel heard, valued and supported to thrive. His impact is felt not only by those he supports directly, but across the wider team.
Alongside his Support Worker role, Jerin is also an ‘Eden Influencer’. Working with a diverse cross-section of colleagues and people we support, he helps shape positive change by gathering feedback, championing ideas and strengthening our culture. Jerin has played a key role in initiatives like EcoEden, inspiring colleagues and those we support to grow veg, recycle and donate to local charities.
Jerin is a fantastic peer supporter too and has been instrumental in helping colleagues who are new to the UK feel welcomed, settled and confident.
When asked what makes him most proud, Jerin shares two moments that truly capture the heart of his work: supporting one gentleman to rediscover his love of barbering, and helping another person enjoy eating out for the first time in eight years. Both experiences required careful planning, patience and encouragement – and both led to life-changing outcomes.

In September 2025, Jerin was awarded our Outstanding Support Worker of the Year Award (East) during our Care Awards celebrations.
Jerin says; “Being recognised as the Outstanding Support Worker for the East Region is one of the greatest milestones of my life. I am deeply grateful to work for an organisation that recognises and values its staff for the dedication and care they provide. Eden Futures is a company that truly supports its people and celebrates the best in what we do.”
